Vacuum chamber packaging machines are available in several different styles including table top vacuum packaging machines, single chamber free-standing vacuum packaging machines, double chamber vacuum packaging machines and continuous or conveyor belted vacuum packaging machines. While these machines are most frequently associated with food packaging they are also used extensively to vacuum package medical products as well as general industrial products. In short, any product that can benefit from being protected from exposure to oxygen and/or humidity can benefit from using a vacuum chamber machine. With the addition of a gas flush system, vacuum chamber packaging machines can be used for MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) applications as well. This gas flush or MAP applications extend the self-life of fresh foods by many weeks.

Control system used on vacuum chamber packaging machines range from simple analog systems, microprocessor based system as well as fully validatable PLC/HMI systems that allow the machine to seal your product at specifically set seal temperatures and seal pressures all with full process alarms that protect your product from being processed if any of the seal parameters are off the designated set point.
