The Thompson 400 Supercut High Speed Bandsaw is a heavy-duty industrial meat bandsaw designed for fast, accurate cutting of fresh and frozen products in meat processing plants, commissaries, butcher operations, and other high-volume food production environments.

Constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, the Thompson 400 is engineered for durability, hygiene, operator safety, and consistent cutting performance. Thompson incorporates wheel and blade scrapers to help reduce product buildup, while the fully enclosed upper wheel housing helps prevent debris from falling onto the table or product during operation.

The Supercut high-speed configuration quoted by RAM features a powerful 5 HP (3.7 kW) braked motor and blade speeds of approximately 7,600 ft/min (2,300 m/min). Designed for Industrial Meat Processing

The Thompson 400 incorporates an enclosed blade tension system with a positive tension setting designed to maintain consistent blade tension. The braked motor rapidly slows the blade when the machine is stopped, while the foot-operated kick stop gives operators another convenient means of stopping the saw when their hands are occupied. Thompson also positions the machine controls at eye level for easy operator access.
