The unique characteristic of a right-angle feed screw to the mixing bowl reduces the length of the feed screw and helps to achieve a high capacity production rate similar to the Thompson Meat Machinery 6000 Series Meat Mixer-Grinders output. The labor savings achieved from this remarkable mixer - grinder, along with the high quality of the cut, produces an outstanding savings in production when compared with similar competitor’s machines.

The Thompson Meat Machinery Model 5000 Meat Mixer-Grinder (with extended hopper) is a heavy duty, industrial all #304 stainless steel machine designed specifically for large volume mixing and grinding operations and has been designed and developed to the high standards of safety and finish demanded by CE / USDA and GS regulations. The Thompson Meat Machinery Model 5000 Meat Mixer-Grinder (with extended hopper) is powered by high performance motors through 2 independent helical reduction gear units.

The added feature on this Thompson Meat Machinery Model 5000 Meat Mixer Grinder is the extended hopper. This extended hopper offers extra capacity, particularly during the loading of the initial mixing cycle. This removes the frustration of product spilling over the sides due to uneven leveling as the product is loaded. Then once the mix agitation commences everything condenses. The Extended Hopper is fitted with a Safety Trip Bar around the Hopper perimeter.

The Thompson Meat Machinery Model 5000 Meat Mixer-Grinder (with extended hopper) has the option of a “Unique Product Discharge Chute” that enables the mixing bowl to be emptied without passing through the feed screw and cutting system.
