Our RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saws are used in butcher shops, meat markets, grocery stores and meat processors around the world. The RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saws can be used for fresh, frozen, bone-in and boneless meats. With a maximum cutting height of 15.5" and maximum cutting depth of 18.4", combined with a high speed blade (running at 4,003 feet per minute) the RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saws are perfect machines for industrial level meat cutting operations.

These RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saws are made of high-quality #304 stainless steel. Including the upper and lower blade wheels. This is not typical with traditional bandsaws as most are still made of cast iron, tinned plated, upper and lower wheels. This tin plating creates problems over time. It typically wears off and needs to be re-tinned every few years. The USDA inspectors have been known to “red tag” industrial meat band saws when the tin plating starts to diminish causing the underlying metal to rust resulting in contamination of the meat products being processed through the bandsaw.

The RAM S16 Industrial Meat Bandsaw was designed with ease of cleaning and sanitation in mind. This Bandsaw unit can be fully washed down thanks to its stainless steel construction and watertight, safety magnetic start & stop buttons.

Bandsaws are very dangerous, so it is very important that each operator is properly trained out of the manufactures manual on safety and proper operation of the RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saw. The RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saw is designed with 3 separate Stop Power switches located on various easy-to-access spots on the machine for added safety. A primary stop button at eye level, another red stop button below the front rolling/sliding table and a third twist off switch at the RAM S16 Industrial Meat Band Saws master power control box. The bandsaws magnetic safety door sensors cuts power to the motor whenever the maintenance door is opened.
