MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) is a packaging technique used since the 1970s. It is the process of capping by controlling the atmosphere in the packaging, filling it with gases that will affect the food least and slow down the process of deterioration. As it is a technology that extends the shelf life of the product without using additives, it is one of the most preferred methods in the food industry.
MAP Packaging (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) method is a food technology for extending the shelf life of foods. The main thing here is that the air inside the PP (Polypropylene) container is absorbed by the vacuum method and mixed with the gases in the atmosphere, and then it is closed with the films using the transparent (Sealing) method, which completely separates the product from the external atmosphere and shows the product clearly with its natural appearance.
This method extends the shelf life of the product in fresh meat up to 2 times in natural ways and 6 times in cooked products without using any additives.
Products sold in MAP packaging have completely consumer-friendly advantages such as ease of inspection, product standard, product identity, hygiene guarantee. Therefore, the products purchased in MAP packaging are largely food safe.
